Why this product
Two white corundum whetstones, each bonded to a tempered glass plate: the stone stays flat longer and wears evenly. Each has its own non-slip silicone base, and the storage box doubles as a sharpening table.
Two versions. 1000/5000: to bring back the edge of a dull knife, then finish it. 3000/10000: to refine an edge that is already good and go up to a mirror polish, especially on very hard steels.

Rinse the stone after use and let it air-dry before storing.
Don't drop it: the tempered glass keeps it flat, it doesn't protect against knocks.
FAQ
Which version should I choose?
1000/5000 if your knives have lost their edge: it is the everyday maintenance set. 3000/10000 if you already have a coarse stone and want a finer edge, for example on a very hard steel like ZDP-189.
What about the 1000/6000 stone?
Our 1000/6000 stone is a single double-sided stone on a bamboo base. This set offers two separate glass-backed stones that stay flat longer.
