Why this product
Our stainless steel pan comes without a lid. This one completes it when you need to cover: steaming vegetables, melting the cheese on a toastie, finishing a thick piece of meat over low heat, or keeping splatter down.
The tempered glass lets you watch the cooking without lifting the lid. The stainless steel rim protects the edge of the glass, a small vent lets the steam out, and the knob is stainless steel.
Which size?
For our stainless steel pan, take the same size as the pan: 22, 24 or 28 cm. For another pan or a saucepan, measure the inside diameter of the rim: the 22 cm lid fits 21.5 to 22.4 cm, the 24 cm lid 23.5 to 24.4 cm, the 28 cm lid 27.5 to 28.4 cm.

Care
Avoid thermal shock: don't put a hot lid under cold water or on a cold, wet surface.
The stainless steel knob gets hot during cooking: use an oven glove.
FAQ
Will it fit my Forval pan?
Choose the same size as your pan. If in doubt, measure the inside diameter of the rim and compare it with the measurements given: the lid rests on the rim.
Can it go in the oven?
The maker doesn't say so, so we don't recommend it.
