Why this product
A pot for frying at home without an electric fryer: chips, fritters, tempura or fried chicken, on the hob you already have. The thermometer on the rim shows the oil temperature at all times. That is the difference between crisp and greasy frying: too cold, the oil soaks in; too hot, the outside burns before the inside is cooked.
The lid is a rack that opens halfway: you rest the pieces on it as they come out of the oil, and they drain back into the pot, no kitchen paper needed. Closed, it holds back splatter. Once the oil has cooled, it pours out cleanly to be filtered and reused.
In 20 cm (2.2 litres) for two, in 24 cm (3.2 litres) for the family.

FAQ
How much oil should I use?
Fill to halfway at most: the oil rises when food goes in, and splatter stays inside the pot.
What temperature should I fry at?
Around 160 °C to cook chips through, then 180 °C to brown them. Tempura and fritters are fried at 170 to 180 °C.
What if it's not right for me?
You have 60 days to send it back. The conditions are on our Shipping & returns page.
