Can I grind coarse salt?
Yes, coarse salt that is fully dry. Damp salt sticks to the grinder: keep the mills away from steam.
What about other spices?
Any dry, hard grains: peppercorns, berries, coriander, cumin. Avoid oily or moist spices.
