Why this product
The Chinese chef's knife does it all: its wide blade slices, chops herbs, crushes garlic with the flat and scoops what you've cut straight into the pan. It is not a bone cleaver: it is made for meat, fish and vegetables.
The 19 × 9.2 cm XINZUO blade has 73 layers: a 14Cr14MoVNb powder steel core, with a stated hardness of 62 to 64 HRC, between two sets of 36 layers of Damascus stainless steel. Sharpened to 15° per side, it sits on an olive wood handle. 376 g.

FAQ
Can I chop bones with it?
No. The thin, hard blade is made for slicing, not striking. Bones and frozen food can chip the edge.
Is it dishwasher safe?
No. The dishwasher damages the edge and the handle. Hand washing and drying is all it needs.
What if it's not right for me?
You have 60 days to send it back. The conditions are on our Shipping & returns page.
